term" green-space" includes private as welll as public
green-space (over 1 ha) . It also includes agricultural as
well as derelict land - as they have a potential to function
(either temporarily or in the long term) as part of the
city's greenspace system - such non-public spaces support
the enhancement of biodiversity and active and passive
recreational activity- the quality of these green-spaces too
has a direct impact on the percieved quality of life in the
city. Private gardens associated with housing are excluded
