Aims of the Trust	NUCA is a community partnership organisation promoting regeneration in a defined area of deprivation. Netherthorpe and Upperthorpe are inner city areas of Sheffield. NUCA leads in local regeneration decision making; working with Sheffield City Council and other agencies on strategy, initiatives and funding for the area, ensuring effective community involvement in all aspects of regeneration. NUCA aims to secure assets for the community (eg buildings) and further funding for the area, especially Objective1 money.
Benefits expected	NUCA hopes to share in an information exchange about the experiences and work of Development Trusts, particularly about Government initiatives and funding regimes which DTs can participate in. Hopefully the network will give a higher national profile for the work of DTs.
Benefits received	A visit from Hugh Rolo was very useful with lots of helpful information about the work of DTs and the role of the DTA.
