1987: Doctor of Technical Sciences; Faculty of Architecture, Technical University of Gdansk; doctoral thesis: „Environmental problems in methods of regional spatial planning"

Professional background:

1974 &emdash; 1997: Institute of Physical Planning and Municipal Economy; Department of Physical Planning then Department of Natural Framework for Physical Planning, Warsaw (ten years as a head of the Department)

Since 1997 till now: Warsaw Agricultural University. Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture. Warsaw, Nowoursynowska 166, Poland.

1998 &emdash; 2001: Ministry of Environment (former Ministry of Environmental Protection, Natural Resources and Forestry). Advisor of the Minister in the physical-planning policy.

Faculty consists of two divisions: 1. Horticulture, 2. Landscape Architecture.

The section of Landscape Architecture includes two departments:
